The Principal
Welcome to the official website of Busy Bees English Medium School. I am deeply honoured to introduce our school and share my vision of quality education with you here.
It has been 23 years since I first began teaching and I have had the pleasure of working with countless students in various educational contexts. One of the most fundamental lessons that I have learned from experience is that every child is intelligent and has the potential to grasp any concept when given enough time and attention.
Education should never be a race, or the cause of pressure and fear in a young child’s life. The Busy Bees staff appreciates that everyone has their own speed and method for learning, and we are consistently dedicated to supporting our children so that they reach their individual goals. Our aim is to create an encouraging environment where learning is as relevant and interesting as possible.
As the principal, I aim to continuously facilitate productive and empathetic relationships between parents, teachers and students and provide ample resources for varied methods of learning. Our administration team recognises that the majority of a person’s childhood is often spent on school grounds, which is why the cultivation of a fun, nurturing and friendly environment is one of our essential goals.
The entire staff of Busy Bees is completely dedicated to the well-being and development of each and every student in our classrooms.

Our Brief History
On the 13th January 2013, Busy Bees English Medium School opened its gates for the first time to a total of nine students and three staff members. Our first registered student’s name was Lineo Ntseke.
Six years later, we have grown in numbers and expanded to two campuses to accommodate many more young and brilliant minds bursting with potential. Over this time, we have gained a plethora of experiences that have sharpened our ambitions for providing affordable quality education to learners through a holistic approach.
Busy Bees aims to educate our learners beyond academic knowledge. We appreciate that childhood is a wonderful period when children are filled with energy to explore, play, build relationships and apply their curiosity and imagination to the world around them. Aside from curriculum materials sourced in Africa, Asia and Europe, we offer a multitude of extracurricular activities that engage students in physical, creative and social activities. These include music lessons, cultural days, taekwando, Maners4Minors, Monkeynastix and mini chess. We also encourage a sounder knowledge of current affairs and global issues such as climate change through informative events held on campus.
Our focus on helping our students cultivate positive and respectful relationships with the people and community around them is maintained by an environment that values mutual care and empathy. Our teachers and staff are personally invested in the success of all the students.
In this way, our motto “Bee a learner”, refers to more than science, mathematics and the languages. It refers to an education that guides students towards becoming considerate, thoughtful, knowledgeable and creative members of society who are constantly open to learning new lessons.
Every face, name and family are cherished at Busy Bees English Medium School.
